Mardi Himal Trek - 10 Days

Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal Trek is a new but famous trekking route in the Annapurna Region. The route consists of a trail that mostly goes along the top ridges of hills passing through villages and dense rhododendron forests. Panoramic views of diverse landscapes and amazing bio-diversity on the route fascinate the trekkers.

Mardi Himal is one of a peak among 1320 peaks in the Himalayas of Nepal. This is under 6000m trekking peak beneath the most beautiful Machapuchare literally means "Fish-Tail" in the Annapurna region which stands at an elevation of 5587m from sea level. It was summited in 1951 for the first time.

Mardi Himal trek is also known as a hidden gem in the Annapurna Region which was opened in 2012. Since then much more teahouses and lodges are built in this area. At High Camp, there are now 2-3 lodges at an elevation of 3550m. The maximum elevation of this trek is Mardi Base Camp at an altitude of 4,500m.
